W.A.R.B.O.T.s is a top-down multi-player, vs shooter game. The game can have up to 4 players. The players can choose from 4 different W.A.R.B.O.T.s, and two secret characters/stages.

STORY In the year 2231 during the 3rd of the W.A.R.B.O.T. wars, a team of the allied forces top scientists and engineers was assembled. Their job? To use top secret alien technology gathered over the past century to create the ultimate fighting machine. A means by which they could wipe out the enemy, swiftly, and permanently. the result, DARKSUN TECHNOLOGY! With the ability to take out entire battalions with a single W.A.R.B.O.T., Darksun began it's destructive path to victory... But the head of the D.S. (Darksun) team, DR Allen Kayden, saw the catastrophic potential of DARKSUN technology, and devised a plan to destroy the D.S. lab, the W.A.R.B.O.T.s, and all those involved...including himself. Finding a secret lock placed in the D.S. self destruct sequence by the government, he had no choice but to override the W.A.R.B.O.T. A.I (artificial Intelligence) and auto pilot and redirect the D.S. W.A.R.B.O.T.s on a collision course with the sun... On October 18th 2235... The plan was executed...
It is now the year 2335 and the earth is once again at war...Throughout the nations rumors spread that the legend of DARKSUN is indeed true, and soon the mayonaka clan finds century old information documenting a hidden fail safe in the DARKSUN design programming the return of D.S. Technology to earth! The Info leaks quickly and nations from around the world send their best to intercept the pieces. From England: R.E.D. Reacting. Enforcer. of Daedalus. From Neo Russia: S.M.A.C., Strafing. Missile. Attack. Carrier. Form Japan: N.I.N.J.A. Night. Infiltrator. with Neural. Junction. Activator. And from the U.S.: P.A.E.G.A. the Primary. Armored. Enforcer. of Ground. Assault. Some race for power, others for peace. Enemies are made, pacts are formed, and all eyes are turned to the sky, in the war of the W.A.R.B.O.T.s

TIPS & TACTICS
At the level select screen you will see a green flashing circle at the top of the screen. make sure it is on the "a" of "warbots" (you can move it by hitting any button on controller 1)then enter either of the following codes with controller 1:

Darksun:
up, up, right, left, 2, 2, 1

Godzilla:
down, left, right, 1, 2, 1, 2

a little darksun or godzilla icon should pop up on the right side of the screen, and a new location for that character will appear on the map when you do the corresponding code. you can access these levels by pressing the up arrow on the site that is closest to the them. you must hold down the correct letter when picking the character at the beginning of the fight.(D-darksun G-godzilla) If you have all the available warbots fight darksun and win (with them all alive), you can see the ending.
